AMDB Goofs:

• Anachronisms: During the fight in the cyber chess bar, the man thrown through the fish tank can be seen wearing a t-shirt with the logo for the band Sugar Ray on the front. The band did not form until several years after the movie was filmed.
• Revealing mistakes: Alex decapitates the second Yakuza clone assassin with a katana and Alex's head falls off instead.
• Crew or equipment visible: When Mr. Hayabusa rolls up the window of his limousine, the reflection of the camera, boom mic, boom mic operator and a crewman fighting a unicorn are visible.
• Continuity: During the door hacking sequence in the Shamaguchi warehouse Alex can clearly be seen adjusting eight dials on his hacking computer to the "overload" setting. When a wide shot shows the computer sitting next to him there is no door in the doorway.
• Errors in geography: It is not possible to travel to Hawaii from Florida by jet ski.
• Factual errors: Alex fires his Colt Python revolver 167 times without reloading. This gun holds fewer than 100 bullets.
• Continuity: Between shots, the redwood tree behind Mr. Hayabusa in the arboretum is replaced with a giant concrete cactus.
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: The stripper in the Pleasurematrix is topless when Alex enters but is peeling off her bra less than a second later. This is possible within the artificial reality of the Mindgrid.
• Miscellaneous: Soupy lights and smokes a cigarette filter-first without reacting.
• Factual errors: Alex incorrectly pronounces "pizza" as "fuck you."
• Crew or equipment visible: Near the end of the kickboxing fight on the rooftop a sound man walks into frame and begins milking a cow in the background for the remainder of the sequence.
• Factual errors: A self-aware artificial intelligence would suffer from a divide by zero error if it were programmed to be Amish.
• Revealing mistakes: When Alex's helicopter explodes in slow motion the secondary flare visible on the right side of the screen is fire jumping from the model and igniting the miniature technician's hair.
• Factual errors: No matter how hard a tennis ball is thrown - even by a cyborg - it cannot leave the earth's gravitational pull.
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: While the barnyard fight is going on several ducks can be heard quacking. The sound of the quacks do not match up to the movement of the beaks silhouetted against the wall of the barn.
• Revealing mistakes: When Caliente is thrown out the window his falling body is obviously a golden retriever.
• Factual errors: 183 and 10 are incorrectly multiplied by a calculator during the Shamaguchi boardroom meeting.
• Anachronisms: Despite the claims of the opening narration, a Japanese Zaibatsu did not buy the West Coast of the United States in 2002.
• Continuity: Mr. Hayabusa's gender changes several times between cuts during the penthouse confrontation with Alex. At one point he becomes two separate people. This is explained on the DVD commentary as a budgetary necessity during re-shoots.
• Miscellaneous: Despite appearing in the title, the word "warp" is never spoken or referenced in the movie.
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: When Alex tears out his own heart and uses the Shamaguchi cardiac bomb as a grenade to blow up Mr. Hayabusa's jeep this is possible because a cyborg could technically have two hearts.
• Continuity: When the mega samurai is crushing the coal into a diamond his watch changes wrists between shots.
• Crew or equipment visible: During the fight on top of the volcano the mega samurai is thrown through the craft services table scattering several actors playing characters killed earlier in the movie.
